One of my favorite things to make with my Cricut machine is home decor pieces to hang in my home. I have a 12x12 scrapbook page frame, from Michaels, that I use to showcase a new seasonal project.
Today, I cut two of the delicate hearts on Love Struck 2010 and alternated them in red and white. Then, I added the word "love" from the old Home Decor solutions cartridge.
Oh, and by the way, you really can't tell but the hearts are actually 3 layers. First, I cut a solid chipboard heart, then a solid heart in red or white paper followed by the lace overlay in red or white.
Although I really, really like it, I almost feel as if something is missing. But the more I think about it, the more I wonder if anything else might make it cluttered.
What do you think? I will pick one comment between now and March 1st to win this design so they can hang it on their wall next year!
