I am so excited to help Angie celebrate her major milestone birthday with Cricut projects! My name is Veronica and I met Angie while we were training for a demonstration job with ProvoCraft last spring.
Here is my birthday-themed project:
First, I used a purse template from the Bags, Tags, Boxes and More cartridge and cut it using my Gypsy. It is much bigger in the picture than it is in person. But I cut it as big as my 12X12 mat would allow. All folded up, it is only big enough to hold a gift card or some jewelry. But what a pretty way to give small gifts to friend.
By the way, in case you forgot, you have until Monday, Feb. 28 to buy and register your Gypsy so you can unlock 5 free cartridges, including Bags & Tags.
The paper I used for the bag was from a K&Company Valentine's paper pad that I got from Michaels -- on sale, of course! The words came from Gyspy Wanderings, one of the preloaded cartridges on the Gypsy.
Then, I pulled out paper flowers and bling that I've had laying around the craft room for awhile and I am very excited how it came out.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Feel free to stick around awhile and take a look at my work. Email me any questions you have, become a follower and please leave a comment -- I will choose one random commenter (you also need to be a follower) to win a small prize pack including some clear stamps, paper, embellishments and some other goodies that I have laying around.
Ok, have fun finishing the Blog Hop. Here's your next stop: TinaGale.
