I MUST-ACHE YOU

Mustaches are very trendy right now, but my kids have always thought they were cool. The bigger and the bushier, the better.
Well, this weeks free cut at the Cricut Craft Room is a set of mustaches, as seen below:

The file also includes three types of eye glasses that you can cut out and wear with your cool mustaches. Just open your Cricut Craft Room and go under My Cartridges.

CRICUT GOES TO WASHINGTON?

One day, a few weeks ago, I was tinkering with the Cricut Craft Room and discovered two strange titles listed under My Cartridges: Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.

Mitt Romney Cricut Cut
Barack Obama Cricut Cut
Now, I know that I wouldn't have paid money for those images (nothing against either candidate but I am just not that political) but it sure appeared as if I cut both of them. So I gave it a try.
Sure enough, both images are FREE! And they both have layers that make them actually pretty cool when put together. I made a Mitt for my mother-in-law, who is a very vocal conservative. As for Obama, well... I live in Nebraska after all.
Anyway, I don't know how long the digital images will be around in the Craft Room. But I am guessing probably until the election. If you would like me to make some for you (say for school or an election night party), please email me at iteachscrap@cox.net. We can talk size, colors and possible cost.
Be sure that I am not out to make money, I just need to cover my costs for the paper, shipping, etc.
Below, there is a video tutorial on how I made these as quick basic intro to the Cricut Craft Room.

Probably the only smiles these two will ever have while facing each other.
